Kevin has a love for non-fictional filmmaking for the simple reason that they tell real stories with real people. He feels there is a definite emotional difference to a story when you know it is factually true and not fabricated. “Documentaries provide a portal into real human activities and emotions. They let us know that we are not alone in any aspect of life.” He strives to provide films that truly document a topic and not just produce something to be the next reality show. “Documentaries were around long before reality TV became mainstream. I believe that a well done documentary will always reign superior to any reality show.” Kevin has a second documentary almost entirely shot. It features a uniquely talented singer songwriter and his band from Tallahassee. FL trying to make it in an oversaturated but expanding music market. He is also in the planning stages for a traveling show for television and a third documentary, again race themed. |
